Nameri National Park

Nameri National Park

Nameri National Park is indeed a stunning national park located in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas, situated in the Sonitpur District of Assam, India. Approximately 35 kilometers away from Tezpur, it is positioned in close proximity, about 9 kilometers, to Chariduar, which stands as the nearest village to the park.

The northern boundary of Nameri National Park adjoins the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary, which is situated in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. This shared boundary expands the conservation area and creates a contiguous habitat for various wildlife species across these regions.
